Robert Bass
Realtor
Born and raised in St. Cloud, FL, Robert is a 6th generation Osceola County resident. He graduated from St. Cloud High School and Valencia College. Robert began his career in Osceola County as a Realtor in 1988 and later expanded his education to become a certified Real Estate Appraiser. Robert is currently the president and owner of Main Street Appraisal Service in St. Cloud. Robert has been married 20 years to his wife Alison, also a graduate of St. Cloud High School and the University of Central Florida. Alison is currently employed by Orlando Health at St. Cloud. They have a daughter, Evan, who is a senior at Harmony High School and will be graduating this spring with honors. She is also a varsity athlete in both softball and cheerleading. Robert has a stepson, Jason, who graduated from Harmony High and University of Central Florida. He recently earned his Master’s Degree and is currently a Dean of students at Narcoossee Middle School. Community Involvement Robert has been a very active member of the Osceola community for many years. He currently holds the position of Vice-Chairman on the Business Advisory Board of the Osceola County School District and was a member of the Superintendent Search Committee in 2015. Robert also held positions on the Osceola County Planning Board and the Osceola County Code Enforcement Board. Robert remains an avid member of the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce and served as board member and former board chairman. He also chaired the governmental affairs committee and for many years was the moderator for city council and school board candidate’s forums. He has been the Chairman of the St. Cloud Christmas Parade for the past 20 years and spent 25 consecutive years with St. Cloud Little League serving as vice president, coach and manager. Robert has been the Athletic Booster President for Harmony High School for the previous 3 years. He has also been involved with the HOSTS Mentoring Program at Hickory Tree Elementary and St. Cloud Middle School and served as a Junior Achievement Instructor within our school district.
